Mean Girls Summer Youth Camp
June 6th-14th, 2026 • Ages 11-18
The Plastics have deemed Broadway Junior worthy of their presence in Mean Girls JR! This "fetch" musical from book writer Tina Fey (30 Rock), lyricist Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and composer Jeff Richmond (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is packed with keen wit, an undeniably catchy score, and a sincere message for everyone.
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.

Camp cost: $495, due upon registration.

Read through, music rehearsal.
Monday, June 8th - 11th
Denver Dance Center, 2:00 – 5:30 PM
Finish Music, begin choreography and blocking.
Friday, June 12th
Denver Dance Center, 11:00 - 4:00 PM.
Dress rehearsal.
Saturday, June 13,
The Flex Theatre @ The People’s Building, 12:00 - 8:00 PM.
Load-in begins at 12:00 pm.
Cast called: TBA
Final dress rehearsal.
1st show: GO at 6:00 pm.
Sunday, June 14TH, 12:00 - 4:00 PM.
Cast called at 12:00 pm.
2nd show: GO at 2:00 PM.
MANDATORY STRIKE TO FOLLOW
All cast members can miss up to two rehearsals if they have conflicts.
Students should arrive at camp each day dressed in comfortable, movable clothes, with a non-glass water bottle, pencil, dance shoes (preferably), and a snack, should they desire one.
