About Us

City Theatre Company is an all-women-owned and operated performing arts company that strives to nurture artistic growth and promote creative expression. Founded by illustrious Soprano Lisa Walecki, City Theatre Company emphasizes creativity and self-expression, and cultivates unique opportunities for thespians of all cultures and backgrounds through a variety of events and experiences. Educational workshops, Kids Camps, and full-scale productions will be held regularly and are available opportunities for performers and technicians alike. City Theatre's workshops are designed to allow for artistic expression and education, ranging from audition preparation to technical skills and more. Week-long kids camps are open to students ages 7-15 at all levels of skill and experience. Full-scale productions are mostly held during the summer and feature Denver's most renowned directors, producers, and artistic individuals.
