Auditions
City Theatre holds auditions year-round for adult, youth, and all-ages productions. Auditions are announced on this page as they become available, so check back frequently if you'd like to see yourself on one of our stages. We pride ourselves on diverse casting and will never discriminate against race, gender, sexual identity, or religion. We highly encourage actors of all levels of experience to audition, from those pursuing a career as a performer and those who are brand new to the world of theatre and want to perform onstage for the first time.

Performances March 6th - 8th at The Bug Theatre in Denver, CO.
Please come to auditions prepared with 32 bars of a musical theatre piece and a one-minute monologue, both in the style of the show. Please be prepared to connect your device to our Bluetooth speaker.
Please also bring your printed out résumé and headshot.
Those interested in the role of Jane Doe should instead come prepared with a one-minute cut of "The Ballad of Jane Doe" including any of the belting and coloratura sections.
Ride the Cyclone will be double-cast. The Reckoning Cast will feature actors aged 12-18, and The Ride Cast will feature adult actors aged 18 and up. Both casts will perform twice, between March 6-8th.

Fridays beginning January 9th, 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm (with understanding that people coming from work will be late)
Saturdays beginning January 10th,12:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Sundays beginning January 11: 11:00 am - 1 pm
No rehearsal Sunday, March 1st.
Music rehearsals: Friday, January 16th, 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday, January 17th, 10:45 am - 2:30 pm
