Classes and Workshops
City Theatre aims to set actors up for success by holding audition preparation workshops before each of our major productions. By doing this, we believe our auditions are not only a way to get oneself seen by some of the most experienced directors in town, but also educational experiences that provide skills one can take with them to future auditions.
Additionally, we hold workshops throughout the year that are not associated with any of our productions. These workshops hone in on specific skills and are led by the most qualified theatre professionals Denver has, allowing actors to improve their overall craft.
Hadestown/Mean Girls Audition Workshop
May 16th, 2026 from 10:30 -1:00 pm • 11 years old and up

Price: $40 per student

Whether you’re fine-tuning a musical theatre song, a monologue, an art song, or an aria, this workshop is a supportive space designed to level up your performance!
We’re covering it all, from individual performance coaching with an accompanist to a choreography segment to get you ready for the dance call.
Please bring sheet music or a backing track, water, and comfortable clothes!
